Disk wheel build…

I saw someone riding around in Belgium with a self built disk wheel on the last NoGears trip, which stuck in my mind! Then as luck would have it a Estate agents sign was left outside our flat, and my Sunday afternoon was sorted. I don’t play polo, but I had got it stuck in my head as a challenge so felt the urge to see if I could make one, I’m already turning in to a B&Q dad!. There are loads of videos on youtube etc, but basically cut out a bit of plastic and put it on a wheel, job done. Its super fiddly and can go wrong at any point but as the old man says measure twice cut once. I finished it off with a big vinyl sticker, and was almost tempted to start playing polo.
